New No Doubt album won't be released in 2011
No Doubt fans hoping to sink their teeth into a new set of music from the California ska-pop group this year will have to hold on for a little while longer.
According to the band's website, their long-in-the-making follow-up to 2001's "Rock Steady" won't be ready anytime in 2011.
"Ideally our new record would be coming out this year but it's just not ready yet," Gwen Stefani and the group explained. "We don't want to rush this album just to get it out. This collection of songs means everything to us and our only priority right now is to make sure that it's the best album we can possibly make. There is still more work for us to do..."
Hey, in the meantime, you still have "Tragic Kingdom," right?
