Kanye West: The once and future Puppet King

Kanye West -- is there anything he can't do?

Launch a successful comedy-puppet sketch show, apparently.

Footage has appeared online of "Alligator Boots," a scrapped 2008 pilot that West and fellow Chicagoan Rhymefest created for Comedy Central with "Crank Yankers" co-creator Daniel Kellison.

The 10 minute clip finds the superstar rapper making with the funny alongside puppets with names such as "Pork Troy" and "Beary White," and other inanimate objects like Kim Kardashian (in fetching Princess Leia slave garb).

Essentially modeled after "The Muppet Show" (but no doubt dirtier), "Alligator" would have been an R-rated weekly featuring a celebrity host every episode and music from West, Rhymefest and some of their famous friends.

Unfortunately, the clip has been pulled from Youtube, but maybe renewed interest will help get Kanye and his puppet pals on the air.
