Oscar Isaac to join Viggo Mortensen in 'Two Face of January'
"Drive" co-star Oscar Isaac is joining Viggo Mortensen in "Two Faces of January."
The thriller will re-team the actor with with "Drive" screenwriter Hossein Amini, who adapted "January" from the 1964 novel by Patricia Highsmith ("The Talented Mr. Ripley," "Strangers On a Train"), according to Variety.
Amini is also making his directing debut on the film.
"January" centers on an American con artist and his wife who get involved in a cop's murder in Greece. They attempt to flee the country, along with an American student who may be of help in covering up their involvement in the crime.
Highsmith's controversial book "The Price of Salt" is also currently being adapted into "Carol," starring Cate Blanchett and Mia Wasikowska.
"January" is slated to start shooting at the end of this year.
Isaac, who was also seen in "Sucker Punch," is starring in the Coen Brothers' upcoming "Inside Llewyn Davis."
