FOX sets 'King of the Hill' finale
After roughly 13 seasons and 250+ episodes, "King of the Hill" will end its run on FOX this September.
The end-of-the-road for "King of the Hill" had been announced long ago, but there were concerns that the Emmy-winning comedy would go off the air with six unseen episodes still in the can.
Instead, FOX will air two "King of the Hill" episodes from 8:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, with those episodes counting as an hour-long finale.
The airing of those two episodes -- "The Boy Can't Help It" and "The Honeymooners" -- will leave "King of the Hill" with only four Hill family adventures still unaired. That, we guess, is what DVD is for.
