We haven't been this un-shocked by fictional news since J.K. Rowling started dropping hints about Dumbledore's days in wizard school.

Seth MacFarlane has told Playboy (via the New York Daily News) that diabolical toddler Stewie Griffin is gay. Or something.

"But we decided it’s better to keep it vague, which makes more sense because he’s a 1-year-old," MacFarlane says. "Ultimately, Stewie will be gay or a very unhappy repressed heterosexual. It also explains why he’s so hellbent on killing [his mother, Lois] and taking over the world: He has a lot of aggression, which comes from confusion and uncertainty about his orientation."

We're not actually sure that in any way explains why he's so hell-bent on killing his mother, but it *is* a cartoon.
