'The Hunger Games: The Exhibition' will bring Katniss to your District
After each and every Hunger Games tournament, the winning tribute(s) takes a victory tour of Panem's 12 districts. Now, they'll be coming to your hometown as well.
Lionsgate has announced a touring museum exhibition of "The Hunger Games" in summer 2015, based on the film series starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
The interactive, multimedia exhibition will include costumes, props and other elements from the film franchise, and will incorporate artifacts from the Capitol and the various Districts. Lionsgate is working with theme park Thinkwell Group in order to bring it to life.
The tour will begin a few months ahead of the November 20, 2015 release of the series' final film, "Mockingjay Part 2", and will hit major museums and institutions across the U.S. Specific venues will be announced later.
The first two "Hunger Games" films have earned $1.5 billion globally.
