Rihanna 'Unapologetic' may be her first No. 1 album
Rihanna scored her 12th No. 1 Hot 100 single this past week, but she hasn't seen her first No. 1 album. Yet. "Unapologetic" may seel somewhere between 225, 000 and 250,000 copies, enough to start at the
summit of the sales tally, according to Billboard.
Figures and frontrunners may be difficult to forecast due to the kick-off of the holiday sales season, especially from Black Friday and numerous promotions.
Rihanna's best first week of sales came with 2010's "Loud" with 207,000 at No. 3.
Various Christmas-themed sets, Taylor Swift's "Red" and new releases like Kid Rock's "Rebel Soul" and Phillip Phillips' debut will be up in numbers this coming week.
