A&E cancels 'Longmire,' but it may be shopped elsewhere
A&E announced this week that the drama "Longmire" won't return to the network for a fourth season.
“We would like to thank the phenomenal cast, crew and producers of Longmire, along with our partners at Warner Horizon, for their tireless work on three seasons of quality dramatic storytelling," A&E says in a statement. “We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.”
However, according to TVLine.com, Warner Horizon may attempt to shop the drama to other networks.
Warner Horizon will neet to find a network looking for a drama that drew 3.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49 for its third season finale, down 16 percent in viewers and 45 percent in the key demo from the second season finale.
The series starred Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Cassidy Freeman and Lou Diamond Phillips.
