ABC cancels 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition'
After an epic run of nine seasons and 200 episodes, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will end its series life on ABC this January.
The network announced this week that the final two episodes of the "Extreme Makeover" spinoff will air on January 6 and January 13.
In the finale, coincidentally the show's 200th episode, the team will hit Joplin, Missouri to build seven homes in seven days in the tornado-ravaged city.
"EM:HE" build over 200 homes, traveling to all 50 states. Celebrity guests included First Lady Michelle Obama, Elton John, Robin Williams, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Glenn Close, Tyler Perry, Mary J Blige, Carrie Underwood, David Duchovny, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Usher, KISS, Rihanna, Jessica Alba and Derek Jeter.
ABC promises that "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will live on as a series of specials after this season.
