Leonardo DiCaprio and Ridley Scott find 'The Wolf of Wall Street'
Martin Scorsese's loss is Ridley Scott's gain. The former has been working hard to get a movie adaptation of the novel "The Wolf of Wall Street" off the ground for frequent collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio to star in, but couldn't find the financing or distribution.
Now, Scott, who worked with DiCaprio on "Body of Lies," is set to direct the movie which tells the story of a stockbroker who scammed clients and lived off the riches until he was discovered by the feds. According to Deadline.com, the biggest issue is when the picture can actually being shooting.
Scott is expected to shoot a 3-D "Alien" prequel sometime soon and DiCaprio is attached to play J. Edgar Hoover for Clint Eastwood. In either case, the movie is much closer to fruition than under the almost as busy Scorsese's watch.
