Michael Caine says 'Batman 3' starts shooting in April
Christopher Nolan's third "Batman" film still doesn't have a title, an "official" director (although Nolan is expected to return) or a villain, but it does have a release date.
Warner Bros. will release the new "Batman" film on July 20, 2012, a similar summer to slot to "The Dark Knight." What's been unclear is when Nolan and his team would begin shooting the picture to make that release.
Well, according to franchise star Michael Caine, the team is reuniting beginning next April. Caine made he revelation at the world premiere of Nolan's "Inception" while speaking to Digital Spy. Of course, it all has to be taken with a grain of salt. The two-time Oscar winner is also known for announcing this past fall that Johnny Depp would play the Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman the Penguin. That's news which hasn't come to pass... yet.
