'The Unusuals' co-star joins 'The Mentalist'
Terry Kinney, most recently a regular on ABC's short-lived, much-loved "The Unusuals," has landed a key recurring role on CBS' "The Mentalist."
Kinney will play Agent Sam Bosco, a by-the-books policeman with the CBI's Serial Crimes Unit. When Bosco is brought in to oversee the Red John Case, he inevitably bumps heads with Simon Baker's Patrick Jane. In addition, he has a past with Robin Tunney's Lisbon, including a shared dark secret. Hmmm...
Although he may be best known from his long stint on "Oz" (or as co-founder of Chicago's esteemed Steppenwolf Theater Company), Kinney's myriad TV credits also include "thirtysomething, "Cantebury's Law," "Law & Order" and "CSI: NY."
"The Mentalist" returns for its second season on Thursday, September 24.
