Is Amy Winehouse making her comeback on a British reality show?
Tabloid legend Amy Winehouse has had one crazy, unpredictable career, so is anyone surprised any attempted "comeback" would be just as unconventional?
According to reports, the Grammy-winning singer is set to appear on the BBC reality TV show "Strictly Come Dancing." No, she won't be dancing nor will she be the center of attention. Instead, Winehouse will step in as a backup singer while her 13-year-old goddaughter Dianne Bromfield performs on the show. If a deal can be worked out, the Sunday Mirror reports Winehouse would appear on the show this September.
If the report is true, it would be Winehouse's first public performance since May when she quit halfway through a comeback gig at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival. Based on her past history though, we wouldn't count on it.
