U2 kicks off world tour, the Edge promptly falls off stage
After a delay to kickoff, U2 finally started their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE world tour this week, performing in Vancouver on Thursday.
What fans probably didn't expect was the finale to that show: lead guitarist The Edge accidentally fell off the stage in Rogers Arena during the last song of the night, " Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For." Bono didn't even notice.
Still, Edge escaped what could have been serious injuries and instead was treated for bruises and scrapes after the show.
The Irish rockers initially postponed the beginning of their world trek due to extensive injuries singer Bono suffered after a bike accident in the autumn. iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE is set to run through Nov. 15 this year.
