'Ong Bak' star Tony Jaa in talks to join 'Fast & Furious 7'
Thai action star Tony Jaa, known for his bone-crunching martial arts prowess and death-defying stunts in the "Ong Bak" movies, is adding some extra mayhem to "Fast and Furious 7."
The sequel will be Jaa's English-language debut.
Stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker are returning, along with newcomer Jason Statham, slated to play the film's villain.
Jaa's role has yet to be revealed, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Will he go one-on-one with Diesel or The Rock?
James Wan ("The Conjuring") is directing the film, which is set to begin production in September.
"Fast & Furious 7" will race into theaters July 11, 2014.
