Matt Damon and Universal deny 'Bourne' rumors
Matt Damon isn't going to be reclaiming his "Bourne" identity anytime soon.
Despite recent rumors that Damon and his "Bourne Supremacy" and "Bourne Ultimatum" director Paul Greengrass were in talks with Universal for a fourth Jason Bourne film, the actor and the studio have both denied the stories, according to Variety.
There's been talk for some time of Damon returning to the franchise which was extended by Jeremy Renner in last year's "The Bourne Legacy," but nothing has come to pass. The crossover remains a possibility, but for now Damon and Greengrass both have other projects on their plates.
Currently, Anthony Peckham is writing a sequel to "Legacy," also slated to star Renner as Aaron Cross.
