'Friday Night Lights,' 'Bones' and 'Harry Potter' vets join DirectTV's 'Full Circle'
Due to its innovative format, Neil LaBute's DirecTV drama series "Full Circle" has accumulated an impressive cast of TV and film veterans.
The 10-episode series "examines the human condition and relationships through a series of conversations between 11 people whose lives, unbeknownst to them, are intertwined." Each episode takes place in a restaurant and, "La Ronde"-style, each episode features a conversation in which the storyline effectively passes from character to character. Because each character will only be the focus of one-plus episodes, the assembled cast is impressive.
Tom Felton, Minka Kelly, Julian McMahon, David Boreanaz, Keke Palmer, Devon Gearhart, Billy Campbell, Kate Walsh, Noah Silver, Ally Sheedy, Cheyenne Jackson and Robin Weigert have signed on.
The DirecTV release gives details on the characters, but it also explains the connections between the characters, which seems to defeat the whole purpose of the series, so we're not gonna spoil.
"Full Circle" will begin production this summer and will premiere on DirecTV this fall.
