"Twilight" hottie and MTV Movie Award winner Cam Gigandet is ready to play another vampire in the horror Western "Priest."

Based on the TokyoPop comic book, the Scott Stewart-directed feature stars Paul Bettany as a warrior priest trying to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gigandet will play a sheriff who joins the priest because he happens to be in love with the kidnapped niece. Gigandet's character is half-vampire himself, which will probably cause tensions.

In addition to "Twilight," Gigandet is best known for his turns in "Never Back Down" and for contributing to killing Marissa Cooper on "The O.C."
