'Life Unexpected,' 'One Tree Hill' cross over with Sarah McLachlan
For reasons best understood by CW creative executives, Tuesday dramas "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" will be staging a cross-over event on Oct. 12.
The crossover will involve regular "One Tree Hill" castmembers Bethany Joy Galeotti and Kate Voegele, "Life Unexpected" theme singer-songwriter Rain Perry and Ben Lee.
Plus, as a special guest, Sarah McLachlan will perform her new single "Forgiveness" on the episode.
On the episode, Hayley and Mia will travel from Tree Hill to Portland for a music festival hosted by a Portland radio station and Kerr Smith's Ryan. In the process, Hayley and Cate (Shiri Appleby) meet and bond over their shared experiences as teenage mothers impregnated by dudes named Nathan.
Hilarity and emotion ensue.
