You had to know if a director of Bill Condon's caliber was coming on board to direct arguably the most controversial (among fans at least) of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight Saga" novels, that there would be some necessary changes to the "jump the shark" moments in "Breaking Dawn."  Central to those concerns are what Meyer describes in her novel as a very bloody childbirth scene that may or may not (we won't spoil) lead to Bella's death.  Fans will be happy to know the intensity of the moment will remain intact, but the plane is to pull back a bit on the gory elements.

Speaking to E!Online, longtime series screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg noted, "We're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book. I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show. It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

Production on "Breaking Dawn" is expected to begin in Louisiana this November.
