Lea Michele of 'Glee' may be headed to 'Oz'

Matthew Morrison isn't the only "Glee" star to score some new opportunities outside of the FOX show. Lea Michele, who plays Rachel on the show, is reportedly voicing the title role in animated movie "Dorothy of Oz," and possibly playing opposite of Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, according to the New York Post.

While an official announcement for casting is pending, other rumored voice contributors to the 2011 release include Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short, Kelsey Grammer and James Belushi.

The plot, based on one of the novels by "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" author L. Frank Baum's great grandson Roger S. Baum, follows the leading lady back home to tornado-ravaged Kansas, and then back again to a troubled Oz. Chenoweth has already done time in Oz, when she played her popular role as Glinda in "Wicked." She and Michele worked together during an episode of "Glee" this past season.
