We've always known John McClane, Bruce Willis' hero of the "Die Hard" franchise, was a family man, but we haven't seen much of his grown son yet. Until now.
Following a lengthy casting search, "A Good Day to Die Hard" has finally found its John McClane Jr. in the form of "Spartacus" co-star Jai Courtney.
In the film, McClane finds himself in Moscow, where he reunites with his estranged son Jack (Courtney). The bickering duo have to put their rocky past relationship aside and work together to stay alive, and rid the world of those pesky terrorists that seem to follow McClane around.
The fifth "Die Hard" film starts shooting in April, aiming for a February 14, 2013 release (Valentine's Day, natch).
On "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," Courtney played Varro, whose untimely onscreen fate angered some fans.
He'll soon be seen opposite Tom Cruise in Christopher McQuarrie's Jack Reacher
adaptation "One Shot."
