Katherine Heigl wants her Emmy...this year
One year after very publicly removing her name from Emmy consideration, basically blaming the "Grey's Anatomy" writers for not giving her enough quality material, Katherine Heigl is back in the game.
According to Michael Ausiello, the 2007 Best Supporting Actress in a Drama winner will throw her name back into the Emmy pot this year, which shouldn't surprise anybody giving the heavy-lifing Heigl had to do with her cancer/not-ghost-sex storyline this year.
Will Emmy voters hold Heigl's withdrawal last year against her now? Or will they respect that the "Ugly Truth" and "27 Dresses" star is probably a manifestly deserving nominee, even in a tough year in a deep category? Stay tuned...
