NBC will air renewed 'Welcome to Sweden'
NBC announced this week that it has renewed the summer comedy "Welcome to Sweden," which was cute because "Welcome to Sweden" was already renewed by Sweden's TV4 months ago.
In effect, this just means that NBC confirmed this week that it will air the second season of "Welcome to Sweden" at a yet-to-be-determined date. The second season of the Greg Poehler-created culture clash comedy will be 10 episodes.
For the season, "Welcome to Sweden" has averaged 2.9 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49 for NBC. Its premiere was NBC's second highest rated comedy of the summer (and for any network comedy debut in the past five years) behind only "Undateable," which was renewed last week.
