Dominic Cooper and Emily Browning playing artists in 'Summer in February'

"Summer in February," starring Dominic Cooper and Emily Browning, starts shooting this weekend in Cornwall, Oxfordshire and London.

Cooper ("Captain America," "The Devil’s Double") stars as AJ Munnings, with Dan Stevens ("Downton Abbey") as Gilbert Evans and Browning ("Sucker Punch") as Florence Carter-Wood.

The fact-based "February" centers on the romance and eventually tragedy experienced by a group of bohemian artists known as the Lamorna Group in Cornwall, shortly before the outbreak of WWI.

It also stars Hattie Morahan ("The Bank Job"), Shaun Dingwall ("Above Suspicion"), Mia Austen, Max Deacon and Nicholas Farrell ("The Iron Lady").

Jonathan Smith adapted the screenplay from his own novel, while Christopher Menaul ("Prime Suspect") is directing. CrossDay’s Pippa Cross and Janette Day and Apart Films’ Jeremy Cowdrey are producing, with Dan Stevens as executive producer.
