Dylan McDermott will return for 'American Horror Story: Asylum'
Guess what? Another one of the original stars of "American Horror Story" is returning for "American Horror Story: Asylum." Shocked, right?
Ryan Murphy tweeted earlier this week that Dylan McDermott will be back in... some capacity, joining original cast members Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and more in the new "miniseries."
In the first "AHS" miniseries, McDermott played the philandering husband of Connie Britton's character. Despite crying and masturbating, he was not nominated for an Emmy.
"Asylum" is off to a terrific start for FX, drawing 3.85 million viewers, including 2.78 million among adults 18-49 for its Wednesday premiere.
