'Good Wife' syndication spans Amazon, Hulu and Hallmark
CBS announced an interesting multi-platform syndication deal for the Emmy-winning drama "The Good Wife" this week, a pact tying together Amazon Prime, Hulu and the Hallmark Channel.

Starting this Thursday (March 14), the first three seasons of "The Good Wife" became available on Amazon Prime, while the fourth season will be available later this year.
Beginning in September of 2013, Hulu Plus will make previous seasons of "The Good Wife" available.
Then, in January of 2014, The Hallmark Channel will begin airing "The Good Wife" on weekdays.
Finally, in September of 2014, "The Good Wife" will star weekend broadcast syndication through CBS Television Stations, an affiliate group covering 85 percent of the country.

"It uses creative windowing to serve the content needs of best-in-class partners while realizing the full syndication value for a high-quality series. In addition, the potential for catch-up viewing across multiple platforms can provide incremental value to future broadcasts on the CBS Television Network."
