Boosted in no small part by an interview with President Obama and the build-up to the Washington, D.C. rally, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" finished the month of October as the No. 1 late night talk show among adults 18-49.
Yes. That means Jon Stewart topped both Jay Leno and David Letterman for the month in the coveted demographic, the first time any late night talk show other than "The Tonight Show" or "Late Night" won a month in this age range since at least 2000.
For October, "The Daily Show" averaged 1.3 million viewers in the 18-49 demo. Leno and Letterman both averaged roughly 1.2 million viewers to tie for second.
"The Daily Show" is also late night's top talk show among adults 18-34.
