FX and FXX cancel 'Chozen' and 'Legit'
"Chozen," originally slated to be one of the first shows on FXX, and "Legit," currently airing on FXX, were both cancelled this week, albeit by different networks in the same press release.
In one fell swoop, FX announced that it would not be renewing "Chozen" for a second season, while FXX announced that it won't be renewing "Legit" for a third season.
Neither cancellation was all that surprising.
"Chozen" premiered to nearly 1 million viewers in January, but was down to half of that by its March finale.
Similarly, "Legit" was down around 300,000 viewers for its February premiere, not enough even with a high measure of critical admiration for the Jim Jefferies comedy.
