Larry David's 'Clear History' draws Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson to HBO
The cast of Larry David's upcoming HBO film "Clear History" has websites creating monstrous URLs just to get every star in for SEO purposes.
Take, for example, this Deadline.com report, which needs to make clear in the URL that Jon Hamm, Bill Hader, Kate Hudson, Phillip Baker Hall, Danny McBride, Eva Mendes and Amy Ryan will all be in the film. Michael Keaton and JB Smoove will also star for the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator.
David will play a marketing executive who loses a valuable stake in an electric car company over a disagreement with his boss (Hamm). The character goes to live on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts under an assumed name, but when his boss comes for a visit, the opportunity for revenge presents itself.
Greg Mottola is directing from a script by David and frequent collaborators Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer.
