'Titanic' 3-D hitting theaters in 2012
Do you believe the heart can go in 3-D? 13 years after shattering box office records, Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox are officially working on a 3-D conversion of the Oscar winning "Titanic." There is no official date, but the plan is to release the picture wide and a few weeks after the "Star Wars" re-release.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the most impressive part about the conversion tests so far are the sequences of the passengers boarding the ill-fated cruise.
Before "Avatar," "Titanic" held the global and U.S. box office record with $600 million domestic and an additional $1.2 billion overseas.
