FOX pulls 'Running Wilde' for sweeps
FOX has put the struggling freshman comedy "Running Wilde" on the shelf for the remainder of the November sweeps period.
For the next two Tuesdays, FOX will air "Raising Hope" repeats on Tuesdays at 9:30 in the place of previously scheduled "Running Wilde" originals.
That's what happens when you average under 3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49, as "Running Wilde" did in its most recent airing.
The Will Arnett/Keri Russell comedy hasn't received a back-nine order from the network and its long-term future is decidedly bleak, though FOX still plans on bringing the show back with new episodes starting on Nov. 30 when the November sweeps period is over.
