Grumpy Cat gets a Lifetime holiday movie
The picture that accompanies this story is real. It's not a silly joke image that we made up to get in on the Internet popularity of the unhappy feline known as Grumpy Cat.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Grumpy Cat will star in the Lifetime original "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever," airing this holiday season.
Written by Tim Hill and Jeff Morris, the movie will focus on a generally irritated pet-store pet and a 12-year-old girl who can communicate with her.
Lifetime is working to cast a voice to accompany the cat, whose "real" name is Tardar Sauce and is owned by Tabatha Bundesen.
Earlier this year, Grumpy Cat even appeared on multiple episodes of "American Idol."
