Are Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe the 'Nice Guys' that Shane Black is looking for?
Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are circling "Iron Man 3" writer-director Shane Black's film noir passion project "The Nice Guys."
Neither actor has officially signed on, according to The Wrap, but both are interested in the film which will find Black back in "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" territory.
In "Nice Guys," a porn star's apparent suicide brings together a mob enforcer named Jackson Healy and a private dick named Holland March in 1970s L.A. They soon begin to piece together a wide-ranging conspiracy involving the auto industry and air pollution.
Crowe was recently seen in "Noah," and is currently shooting "Fathers and Daughters" with Aaron Paul an Diane Kruger.
Gosling unveiled his directorial debut, "Lost River," last month at Cannes.
