George Lucas has 'not spoken to J.J. Abrams' about on ‘Star Wars Episode VII’
Did J.J. Abrams lose George Lucas' phone number?
When the "Star Wars" creator handed over the directorial reins to Abrams for "Star Wars Episode VII," he stated that he would serves as a creative consultant, and it was assumed he would have at least some input on the storyline and characters as Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy and writer Michael Arndt ("Toy Story 3") developed the film.
However, it appears that Lucas hasn't been involved at all so far. He told Access Hollywood, "I have not spoken to J.J. He’s been busy with 'Star Trek [Into Darkness],' and I’m sure that he’ll let me know when he’s got some questions. So, you know, that’s all going well. Kathy tells me it’s working out great."
However, as "Episode VII" won't be released until Summer 2015, there's still plenty of time for the two genre titans to sit down together and talk about all things Jedi.
