Campbell Scott and, um, Martin Short join 'Damages'
"Damages" is expanding the cast for its third season, adding four new actors to the legal drama.
FX announced that Campbell Scott and Martin Short have joined the "Damages" cast as regulars, while "Nashville" co-stars Lily Tomlin and Keith Carradine will both be special guest stars.
The cable network offered no hints on what roles the new stars will be playing, but they join repeat Emmy winner Glenn Close, first-time Emmy nominee Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan.
"Damages" began production on its 13-episode third season earlier this week in New York. The series is expected to return in January.
In addition to Scott ("Royal Pains"), Short ("InnerSpace"), Tomlin ("All of Me") and Carradine ("Dexter"), the third season will include Ebon Moss-Bachrach ("John Adams"), Michael Gaston ("Fringe") and Darren Goldstein (reprising his first-season role).
