Bradley Whitford knows 'Jack' about FOX
"West Wing" Emmy winner Bradley Whitford will return to primetime as the star of FOX's "Jack and Dan," from the creator of "Burn Notice."
FOX ordered 13 episodes of "Jack and Dan" without a pilot through Fox TV Studio's international co-production model (responsible for "Mental" and "Defying Gravity").
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series focuses on Jack, a by-the-books cop partnered with Dan (Whitford), a drunken cop with only a tenuous grasp on his job.
The Matt Nix-scripted series will begin production early next year.
In addition to his long run on "The West Wing," Whitford starred in NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," as well as the network's half-hour comedy pilot "Off Duty." Whitford will next be seen in the mysterious MGM release "The Cabin in the Woods."
