Alyson Hannigan gets a 'HIMYM' papa
We've been so busy concentrating on the identity of the future mother of Ted's future children that nobody worried about that other huge "I Met Met Your Mother" mystery: Who is Lily's father?
Well, maybe that hasn't been such a mystery, but at least now we have an answer: According to Michael Ausiello, Chris Elliott will play the father of Alyson Hannigan's "HIMYM" character on the show's Nov. 23 Thanksgiving-themed episode.
Ausiello says that the episode will include flashbacks aplenty and that Elliott's character is a real loser.
Elliott has also played real losers in the cinematic classic "Cabin Boy," the hit "There's Something About Mary" and the cult TV favorite "Get a Life."
