Jay-Z reveals Michael Jackson appeared on 2001's 'Girls, Girls, Girls'
In an interview with NME, Jay-Z mentioned that he had worked in the studio with Michael Jackson. In fact, you can apparently hear the King of Pop on Hov's 2001 track "Girls, Girls, Girls" -- he just, like, chose not to credit it. "I didn’t even put his name on it," he told the British magazine. Jay-Z had kind things to say of the late pop star, particularly about Jackson's appearance on stage at one of his concerts. "He got up and he walked out and the place went mental, guys were just grabbing their hats and throwing them like, 'Aiiiiiiiiiieeeeee!'" he said. "I remember him calling me and him just talking about, you know, ‘syncopation’ and musician stuff like that. The Michael Jackson I knew was just a musician who loved music."
