'24' veteran causes problems on 'Grey's Anatomy'
"Grey's Anatomy" has recruited Kim Raver to cause romantic problems for two main characters.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Lipstick Jungle" and "24" veteran will play a new surgeon at Seattle Grace and reports imply that she'll come between Christina and Dr. Hunt. Uh-oh!
The character will make her first appearance in the show's ninth episode, airing on Nov. 12. It will be a recurring role and the character will presumably be one of several new roles written to smooth a period in which Katherine Heigl will be absent and Ellen Pompeo's presence will be reduced.
This past development season, Raver starred in the ABC drama pilot "Inside the Box." That pilot just happens to have been executive produced by "Grey's Anatomy" mastermind Shonda Rhimes.
