Elton John won't be able to appear on 'Glee'
Elton John will not be appearing on an upcoming episode of "Glee" playing one of Rachel Berry's gay adoptive dads.
Wait. Was Elton John *supposed* to be appearing on an upcoming episode of "Glee" playing one of Rachel Berry's gay adoptive dads?
Well, no.
In a fine example of putting the cart before the horse, TVGuide.com reported a big exclusive this week that Elton John is touring and thus will be unable to play a role that he'd only been rumored for, even though Sir Elton's touring schedule wasn't some new thing that would have come as a surprise to the "Glee" producers. So John will be unable to play a role he was never really attached to play.
However, the site reports that Ryan Murphy and company have begun meeting with agents and actors and may introduce Rachel's dads in an episode in February or March.
