Kate Mara joins Kevin Spacey in Netflix's 'House of Cards'
Fresh off of her creepy guest-starring run on FX's "American Horror Story," Kate Mara has been cast in a regular role on the Netflix original series "House of Cards."
According to Deadline.com, Mara will play a Washington reporter looking for a career-making scoop and willing to do anything to get it. The series, a remake of the 1990 British favorite, stars Kevin Spacey as a US Congressman who hatches a plot to bring down the President. Robin Wright is already in place, playing the congressman's wife.
In addition to the "We Are Marshall" star, "House of Cards" has also added Kristen Connolly ("Cabin in the Woods") in another supporting role.
