For the past year, Wu-Tang member GZA has been at work -- or talking about work -- on the sequel to his 1995 solo set "Liquid Swords." Now it seems that "Liquid Swords 2: The Return of the Shadowboxer" has been ditched
indefinitely, in favor of a totally new set.
The rapper went with Cudi and Kanye's preferred medium of communication (Twitter) to announce that the new untitled effort would have "a visual and audio element," and that "Liquid Swords 2" just couldn't happen, not just yet.
The decision may in part have to do with frequent collaborator RZA's trip to the East to complete his cinematic directorial debut "Man With the Iron Fist" with Russell Crowe.
