ABC wants less 'V' this January
Fans of ABC's "V" have a little bit less of the sci-fi drama to look forward to this midseason.
According to Deadline.com, ABC has reduced the second season order for "V" from 13 to 10 episodes.
The order reduction was caused by ABC's decision to move "V" from a November premiere to a launch on January 4. The series will air on Tuesdays at 9 p.m., but only in the limited window between installments of "Dancing with the Stars," which will return on March 29.
That leaves only 12 available Tuesdays, with two preemptions, hence the 10 episode order.
