FX's 'Sons of Anarchy' beats 'The Jay Leno Show'
For several weeks now, "The Jay Leno Show" has been getting crushed by every network 10 p.m. show with the exception of ABC's "Eastwick" (which ought to tell you something about the future prospects for the witching drama). Things got worse this week, though, as "The Jay Leno Show" also lost for the first time to a regularly schedule non-sports program from cable.
On Tuesday night, FX's "Sons of Anarchy" averaged a 2.05 rating in the key 18-49 demo. "The Jay Leno Show" did a 1.8 rating in the demo. But let's not just restrict the humiliation to NBC. ABC's "The Forgotten" may have beaten "The Jay Leno Show" with a 1.9 rating, but it also lost to "Sons of Anarchy."
Overall, "Sons of Anarchy" pulled in 3.7 million viewers for the night.
