Now that "X Factor" has all of its judges in place, we've moved into a phase in which every imaginable musician and semi-musician is trying to get their name onto the "American Idol" judging wishlist.

The week began with Nick Jonas practically begging his twitter followers to endorse his candidacy, while only a few days passed before Sean "Diddy" Combs was hearing his name mentioned in that nebulous discussion.

According to NYPost's semi-reliably PageSix, FOX has reached out to the rap impresario to join a judging panel that currently features only Mariah Carey as a confirmed judge.

"Idol" still has a couple more weeks before the judges are actually necessary, so expect plenty more rumors in this news cycle before an announcement is made.
