Reese Witherspoon to star in 'The Beard'
Reese Witherspoon is ready to add "The Beard" to her growing resume.
Although narrative details are being kept under wraps, the title reportedly refers to a woman (presumably Witherspoon) who acts as a faux date when a gay male wants to appear straight.
The actress will co-produce the film with Chernin Entertainment, based a spec script by Becca Greene, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Witherspoon was recently seen alongside Chris Pine and Tom Hardy in "This Means War," and will soon appear with pal Matthew McConaughey in "Mud."
