Although they are less than 12 years apart in age in real life, Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg are slated to play father and son in the Happy Madison produced comedy "I Hate You Dad." The Hollywood Reporter says the film follows a young man (Samberg) who's father (Sandler) moves in with him on the eve of his wedding and begins butting heads with the young bride to be.

Sandler is a Saturday Night Live alum who's consistently made successful comedies, Samberg is a current SNL cast member who's forays into film have not been as successful. Co-starring with Sandler would be his biggest role yet. although 2007's "Hot Rod" set the bar pretty low.
