Sarah Palin controversy brings big audience to HBO's 'Game Change'
Capitalizing on manufactured controversy, HBO's "Game Change" drew the premium cable network's biggest telefilm numbers in eight years.
Jay Roach's look at the 2008 election, specifically Sarah Palin's vice presidential candidacy, drew 2.1 million viewers in its Saturday night premiere (3.6 million for a slew of weekend airings).
That made "Game Change," featuring a buzzed-about performance by Julianne Moore, HBO's most watched telefilm since "Something the Lord Made" back in 2004.
