'Privileged' star drops by 'How I Met Your Mother'
So might JoAnna Garcia be the eponymous mother on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother"?
Well, no, probably not. But the "Privileged" and "Welcome to the Captain" star is the latest attractive young actress to drop by the CBS comedy as a potential love interest for Josh Radnor's Ted.
According to TVGuide.com, Garcia will play a character named Maggie in an episode titled "The Window." Maggie's an old college friend who is so very in-demand as a romantic partner that she's never single. So when Ted hears Maggie is single, he tries to get in on that action before the window closes.
The site says, however, that Garcia is only signed for a single episode.
Suspicions of "Mother"-hood most recently surfaced when Rachel Bilson was cast in the show's 100th episode, though her role and its duration are shrouded in uncertainty.
Garcia was most recently seen in an arc on The CW's "Gossip Girl."
